Who It's For

KISS stands for Keep It Simple. We write for solo founders, freelancers, side hustlers and small teams who are building an online business or a second income without a big budget.

That means we look at free plans and lower-cost options alongside the market leaders, explain what a tool is for before what it costs, and say so when a free or cheaper option is enough.

Everything on the site is published by the KISS Investments team.

How We Research

Using the Tools

Where we can, we use the tools ourselves, often on a free plan or trial, to see how they work in practice and where they fall short.

Vendor Documentation

We read the product's own documentation, help centre and feature pages to check what it does and what each plan includes.

Pricing Pages

Prices change often, so we describe the pricing model (free plan, per user, usage-based) and link to the vendor's current pricing page instead of quoting figures that go out of date.

We update or remove articles when a product is renamed, changes its plans or shuts down. If you spot something that's out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
